Free Somatic Exercises
to Restore Your Sense of Safety While Healing Sexual Trauma

These exercises were created as a companion to my three-part blog series

on healing sexual trauma. The articles explain why these practices matter,

how trauma affects the nervous system, and why healing begins

with restoring safety, resources, and protective capacities.

If you've already read the series, you're ready to begin.

If you're discovering these exercises first, I encourage you to read

the articles before starting. They will help you understand the purpose

behind each practice and get the most from this guide.

I've created these free guided exercises to help you take that first gentle step.

They don't ask you to revisit traumatic memories or work directly with sexuality.

Instead, they gently support the capacities your body needs before

deeper healing can happen—feeling safe, becoming more aware of your body,

noticing what feels comfortable or uncomfortable, and reconnecting

with small moments of ease and non-sexual pleasure.

These exercises are suitable whether you're just beginning your healing journey

or looking for a gentle way to complement the work you're already doing.

Inside you'll find exercises to help you:

  • Develop a greater sense of safety in your body.

  • Strengthen your awareness of bodily sensations.

  • Recognise what feels comfortable and what doesn't.

  • Reconnect with moments of ease and non-sexual pleasure.

  • Begin rebuilding trust in your body's signals.

There is no right way to do these exercises.

Move slowly, stay curious, and only do what feels manageable. Your body doesn't need to be pushed in order to heal.

If, at any point, you feel you'd benefit from more individual support, you're also warmly welcome to book a therapy session with me.
